CARS 3

My primary contribution to Cars 3 was shading the Florida Speedway environment, in which the climactic final act takes place. It was a massive environment to tackle, and was the biggest technical challenge I had had up to that time. I also shaded various areas of the Thomasville speedway environment, Motor Speedway of the South (MSS), and various miscellaneous environments throughout the film. Cars 3 had many expansive, natural landscapes and terrains, which provided it’s own unique challenges for environment shading and look development.
